FENECH VTH D78c Blackwood
The VTH Series or ‘Hardwood’ series is the second tier in the Fenech Guitars range and is crafted from high-quality, hand-selected all-solid hardwood timbers for both the back and sides and the soundboard.
The team at Fenech scour the countryside looking for the best sets of timbers they can find suitable for the quality of their guitars and work closely with those who supply us to ensure we get the very best AA-grade sets available.
Many suitable timbers could be utilised for this series however mostly utilise Australia Blackwood, which is comparable to mahogany featuring a strong midrange focus that is clear and warm with stunning bright trebles and richness comparable to that of Indian Rosewood. New Guinea Rosewood is used for its broad-ranging tonal profile, which is warm, clear and focused but with a slightly stronger bass than Blackwood.
D78 (Dreadnought)
The Fenech D78 model is a modern twist on the most iconic acoustic guitar shape known worldwide, the dreadnought. The Fenech version of this beauty has become renowned for producing a guitar with spades of low-end power, a sweet throaty midrange and brilliant trebles.
