GIBSON J-45 Standard Vintage Sunburst
The Gibson J-45 Standard is Gibson's best-selling acoustic of all time. Nicknamed The Workhorse and first introduced in 1942, this iconic acoustic has become the cornerstone of its round-shoulder, dreadnought line.
Featuring a Solid Sitka Spruce Top and Solid Mahogany back and sides, the J-45 is world renowned for its full, balanced expression, warm bass and excellent projection. Refined over the years, the Gibson J-45 Standard carries the legacy to new heights.
The Gibson J45 Standard delivers a sound with incredible dynamic range, warm mids, and a tight punchy bass, thanks to its hand scalloped bracing. Finished with Nitrocellulose lacquer for its ability to protect wood without suppressing resonance, and the so-called "breathing" ability.
The slim taper neck means that this acoustic not only sounds amazing but is also super comfortable to play.
Each Gibson Acoustic is handmade in Bozemon Montana in the Gibson Acoustic Factory and comes in a hardshell Gibson Case.
